Hello! I am Jacob, Head Detailer here at EAD. Being born into a BMW obsessed family, I didn’t stand a chance & cars have been my life for as long as I can remember. Since getting my P-plates in WA over a decade ago, I’ve spent time building, modifying, and restoring cars. After a few years of giving WAPOL a rest from my "creations" (and their yellow stickers), I made the mistake of grabbing ANOTHER Subaru WRX STI in 2023.

As the STI is probably the “nicest” car I have owned, I wanted to do the right thing and pay a professional detailer to give it "the works". While I chatted with some great people (& some not so great), I realised there was a gap in the industry. It lacked the structured service standards of a qualified trade and the documentation you’d expect from a professional business dealing with items worth tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars!

With 8 years of experience as a qualified Painter & Decorator and 2 in the insurance sector, we decided to solve a bit of a silent problem. Supported by my partner, EAD was built to bring "Trade" service standards to the detailing world. We aren’t about chasing trends; we’re about delivering real detailing services & results for every vehicle that enters our garage.
